Making Session 2

During the final making session, the children continued their final designs. As they worked to complete the base of their ride, they added a central feature to make the theme of the ride inviting and interesting. This session, included testing, evaluating and making some adjustments to their products so they would spin.

Making session 1

During the first making session, the children began creating their final designs. The children began by drawing out nets to make the rider pods for their fairground ride. They then transferred the net  templates onto card and glued this to vacuum formed shapes to create a stable rider pod. The children added their designs to these pods based on their final design ideas.
